| A Film On Peace & Security |
Unrest of any kind whether it is political, ideological, religious, ethnic or other, always has at least two fallouts. The first is the immediate and the visible in which the incident and the event makes the news headlines. The other which is wider, deeper, and lasting, is the impact of each of these events on the lives of normal everyday citizens. Eckova has been commissioned to produce a film to raise awareness about the hidden impact of violence and violent incidents on ordinary citizens. |

Living Desert: A Coffee Table Book Project
The book is the unexpected result of several trips made by a film crew documenting the world of the people of Thar. The book is a visual journey, with minimal text. It is the journey of a small group of city dwellers who have been mesmerized by the surreal magic of the desert, its silence, its compelling visual simplicity, and its ability to slow time almost to a standstill. Although nothing can compare to the real experience, it is a small attempt to share the beauty and magic of the Thar Desert. Hopefully it will enchant the viewer enough, to pick up the backpack and make the journey. Proceeds from the sale of the book will go towards digging new wells in the Thar area. When they decided to produce a song and music video as a commentary on the challenges facing their fair city and the country of Pakistan itself, their natural choice was Eckova. Kaisay Ho Pal is a hard rock tune and although its initial lyrics reflect all the horrible things that we are beset with, it ends on a hopeful note.
