Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM)
The NRSP project in Kashmir on Community Based Disaster Risk Management worked at the community level to build capacity and skills on how to respond to disasters. The project resulted in a change in attitudes and practices at the village level through organizing the community, learning how to respond to disasters and how to plan to prevent disasters. NRSP and Diakonie commissioned 2 films from Eckova, the first will be used to provide a model in other areas of Pakistan and the second a training film to use in the field operations and training facilities of IRM.
