Eckova is active in several community organizations and regularly is sponsor to organizations and causes.

Sarwar Mushtaq is a member of the advisory council for the visual studies and film studies programs at Karachi University. Sarwar sits on the board of Hisaar Foundation, a foundation for water, food and livelihood security and media chair for the Karachi Water Partnership. He is a founding member of Special Olympics Pakistan.

TRDP Drought Mitigation
Film shoots in the Dadu area of interior Sindh to produce a project documentary on the water interventions of TRDP in this drought area.

Pir Mangho Urs
The film crew had an excellent shoot during the Urs at Manghopir - the oldest Sufi shrine in Karachi, The hot sulphur springs are believed to have curative powers, and many crocodiles - believed locally to be the sacred disciples of Pir Mangho. Film is now in post production.
